Recently I had the opportunity to decorate at a sweet friend's house for her precious sister-in-law's baby shower. My friend text me a while back and asked, "Do you do baby showers?" I couldn't respond fast enough! Heck yes, I do! I was so pumped to step away from the world of weddings for a minute to play with sweet pastel baby colors.
This mommy-to-be loves traditional celebrations so it was important for us to design a special look avoiding any major "themes." So, we decided to stick to a classic baby palette with some fun, modern twists in the decor.
The shower host has a fun collection of blue and white containers that I filled with flowers in white and lime to match the pastel invitations.
I took a chance on the dining room centerpiece with this fun chinese lantern tree. I love how it turned out. We had a scrumptious spread of food including sliders, pimento cheese, fruit skewers, mini cupcakes, and custom cookies from Two Crazy Cookies.
I'm so lucky that my awesome sis-in-law has this vintage pram that I could steal away. Isn't it adorable?! The pram made a perfect holder for the party favors (chocolate covered popcorn balls - yum) supplied by the mommy-to-be's Aunt. The precious door hanger was made by a local vendor in Perry, Two of a Kind.
Congratulations to this sweet mommy-to-be!
